Every Wednesday is early dismissal for PLCs: HS @1:55 & GS @2:05, with the exception of the first Wednesday, August 17.
2022-23 Instructional and Lunch Fees
All instructional fees are due by August 31. Meal accounts should be in the positive at the beginning of each week.
The USDA waiver that offered free meals to all students is set to expire on June 30, 2022. Therefore, beginning with the 2022-23 school year meal prices will once again be charged to those who eat. If you wish to apply for free/reduced meals, you will need to fill out the application. If you wish to apply for an instructional fee waiver, then you must fill out the free/reduced meal application as well as the fee waiver application. Applications may be submitted to the offices beginning August 1.

ALL STUDENTS NEED TO BE REGISTERED BETWEEN AUGUST 1-12, 2022 FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR.
Online Registration will tentatively be open August 1-10 in your Skyward Family Access. You will receive an email when it's open.
August 8, from 8am-12pm--GS and JH/HS offices will be open for in person registration (on a chromebook) and to pay fees by cash or check.
August 9, from 8am-11:30am--New student registration
August 9, from 12pm-3:30pm--GS and JH/HS offices will be open for in person registration (on a chromebook) and to pay fees by cash or check.
If you are unable to register online or want to pay your fees in person and are unavailable for these dates, please call or email the building secretary AFTER AUGUST 1, 2022 to set up an appointment.

Menu change for the elementary building: April 25 will be walking tacos and April 26 will be hotdogs.
Payson Preschool For All has scheduled a developmental screening for all preschool aged children in the district on Friday April 22, 2022. The screening includes motor, cognitive and language skills. Hearing and vision will also be part of the screening. Children need to be three by August 24, 2022 and not already enrolled in Pre-K. Call 217-656-3439 or stop by the grade school office to schedule an appointment and pick up a packet. Please fill out the packet and bring that and a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of income with you to the screening.
Kindergarten RoundUp is April 22. If your child will be in Kindergarten next year and does not currently attend PreK here, please stop by to pick up a packet in the elementary office, starting Monday, April 4.
Due to the Snow Day on February 4 the School Improvement Day has been rescheduled to May 6. The JH/HS will dismiss at 11:10 and the GS at 11:20.
