*Thank you to all those who voted in our mole day competition on Wednesday. There were lots of great entries this year. In 2nd place was DJ Moley D and in 1st place was Perry the Platamole.
*Students--there is a Halloween costume contest at the end of the school day today. Don’t forget your entry fee, $1 or 2 canned goods per person. You may dress up as groups or as an individual. Sponsored by Student council.
*JH Girls Basketball plays in the Pittsfield Tournament tonight vs Pittsfield at 7:45.
*JH Boys Basketball plays in the Unity Tournament tonight vs Hamilton at 6:00.
*Seniors - the fundraising items will be delivered on Wednesday after school. Please make arrangements to pick it up.
*Teachers - please turn your tech surveys in to Debbie. Also, please let Debbie know if your phones or computers are not working.

*The WCC Choral and Band Festival will be held tomorrow in Monmouth. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Choral students should wear comfortable dress clothes and choral robes for the event. Band students should wear comfortable dress clothes. Students should bring their music and money for lunch and supper. We will leave the school after 1st hour.
*Lifetouch will be here Weds, Nov 2 to take some group and individual pictures after school - FFA, JH Boys Basketball, JH Cheer, JH Dance, JH Girls Basketball. We request all sponsors and coaches to be in the group pictures.
*The Pike County Honor Choir Concert will be held Thurs, Nov 3 at Griggsville. The concert will be at 7:00 p.m. Students should wear black dress pants and a blue polo shirt for the event. Students need to bring their music and money for lunch and supper. We will leave the school after 3rd hour.
*There are extra baseball caps from the JH season available for sale for $5.00. See Mr. Bainter if you're interested.
*The next Payson Pride celebration is Nov 30. To participate in the day, you need to be have zero tardies from Oct 13 until Nov 30 along with zero office referrals.
*Do you need community service hours? Here are a few opportunities:
- The concession stand for JH girls basketball needs workers. Please stop by the office if you are interested.
- The Grade school is in need of people to help out at Homework Haven. This runs from 3:05 – 4:00 Monday thru Thursday. Volunteers would help younger students with math, reading, science and/or spelling tests. If you are interested, please contact Ms. Brokaw.
- The Altrusa Coat Drive needs help sorting and sizing donated coats. They also need help on the Coat give away day. The list of the dates, times, and place can be found in Mrs. Callahan’s office.
