 *Lunch for Thurs, Dec 2 is walking taco, tossed salad, spanish rice & fruit.

*December menus are available in the office.

*There will be a volleyball meeting for any girl interested in playing high school volleyball next year today during HS lunch in the library.

*JH Basketball team plays at home tonight vs Carthage at 6:00.

*Friday morning, in the lobby, the Breakfast Barrio will be serving cinnamon rolls & a drink for a dollar.  It's a great low price for a great big breakfast.

*The Accounting class will be serving breakfast for you every Tuesday and Friday morning in your lobby.  They serve a variety of all your favorite breakfast foods.  It's always at a great low price for a great value.  It's one stop at the Breakfast Barrio for the only breakfast served in school.

*There will be an FBLA meeting during lunch this Friday in Mr. Rea's room to discuss the Western Area Conference Competition.  Please excuse the FBLA members a couple minutes early to get their lunch.  Please be present so we can get signed up for this event.

*Students needing to make a schedule change for next semester should try to do so before Christmas break.

*Congratulations to the following volleyball player who were picked for PCC All-Conference:  1st team--Dakota Flesner & Catherine Richards; 2nd team--Ashley Oberling & Erin Smith

*Lifting this week will be Thursday & Friday after school.  After this week, it will be Monday, Wedsnesday & Friday.

*The deadline for the trip to Washington DC is tomorrow.  The trip is offered to students and will be June 1-4 to historic sites in the area.  For more information, contact Lucinda Gilligan at lgilligan@cusd1.org

*The Payson Music Boosters will be selling poisettias during the Christmas season as their annual fundraiser again this year.  The price is $15 per plant.  Money will be used to fund musical events & purchase instruments.  Money for the sales will be due Fri, Dec 3 and the poinsettias may be picked up at the Winter Concert.

*The Payson Seymour STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) class will be holding a hog roast on Sat, Dec. 4 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Payson Grade School.  The price is $10/ticket and includes baked beans, chips, cole slaw, dessert & beverage.  Please see a class member or teacher for tickets--only so many are available.  Proceeds will help fund community service & classroom projects.  Please help support this inspiring class!

*The JH/HS Winter Concert will be held Mon, Dec 6 at 7:00.  Students should dress up for the event & are encouraged to bring in baked goods on Dec 6 for the silent auction that will be held by the Music Boosters.  Please plan to attend and support our band and choir.

*Sophomore class dues of $25 are due by Dec 8.

*School will be dismissed at 11:10 on Weds, Dec 8 for teacher training.

*Seniors--please turn in your pictures for the Senior video to Alex Wiseman, Bryce Terwelp, or Brittany Speckhart by Friday, December 10.  If you have not turned in your pictures or talked to one of these class members we cannot guarantee you will be included in the Senior video.

*Christmas Ball for HS students will be held on Sat, Dec 11 from 7-10.

*Winter Dance for JH students will be held on Fri, Dec 17 from 7-10.

 

*Seniors—Turn in your Churchill Photography form and your Proofs to Mrs. Germann ASAP.

*The Junior High (7/8) grade and the 5th/6th grade volleyball teams are selling t-shirts.  They are blue with a tie-dye design and will say Payson Volleyball.  If you would like to order, please let Ms. Brokaw know a size.  They are $12.00.

*Seniors—There is 1 group picture left available for purchase.  The cost is $10.  See Mrs. Germann.

*Homework Haven is at the Jr/Sr High from 3:05-4:05 Monday-Thursday in Mrs. Gilligan's room.
