*Unity-Payson football playoff shirts are now for sale.  They must be ordered by tomorrow morning at 8:00 and will be delivered on Thursday.  Order forms are in the office.

*CONGRATULATIONS to the Unity-Payson football team for making the playoffs!!  They will play at 7:00 Friday night at Mackinaw.  If you are interested in riding a pep bus to the game for $2.00, please sign up in Kendra & Cindy's room.

*WGEM is having a "Football Coach of the Year" contest on their website.  Go to the sports tab and vote for Unity-Payson's Coach Asbury by answering the question "Which high school football coach has done the best job this season?

*Volleyball team will play in their first match of regionals tomorrow at 7:00 at Mendon.  If you are interested in riding a pep bus to the game for $2.00, please sign up in Kendra & Cindy's room.

*Congratulations to Zach Caster, Kelsey Gilker, Danielle Bevans, Katelyn Wolf, and Megan Sherwood--winners of the library's Teen Read Week Trivia questions!  Stop by the library to pick up your prizes.  

*Congratuations to Dakota Ensign--winner of the Teen Read Week "Teacher Favorite Reads" contest.  She correctly matched ALL the teachers with their favorite books.  Second place went to Zach Caster who matched 7 of 11 teachers.  See their answers posted in the library.

*The Payson Pride winners for Fri, Oct 23 were--Alex Cookson, Tina Wernowsky, Samantha Catterson, Kira Eidson & Courtney Durbin.   Please stop by Mrs. Rosenkrans' room on your way to lunch to pick up your prize.

*The Payson Seymour STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) class will be holding a hog roast on Sat, Dec 4 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Payson Grade School.  The price is $10/ticket and includes baked beans, chips, cole slaw, dessert & beverage.  Please see a class member or teacher for tickets--only so many are available.  Proceeds will help fund community service & classroom projects.  Please help support this inspiring class!

*National Honor Society will meet in Mr. Harbourn's room during lunch TODAY

*Blood drive is TODAY.  If you would like to donate blood, please sign up with Mrs. Rosenkrans.  You need to be 17 or have a parent permission form.  You may pick up the form from Mrs. Rosenkrans.

*Class rings will be in on Oct. 28 from 7:30-8:00 am.

*To all 7th & 8th grade volleyball players--Please join us for our parent/athlete introductory meeting on Thurs, Oct 28 in the high school library at 6:30.  If you are planning to play school volleyball, please be there!!  If you can't make it or have questions, feel free to contact Coach Tedrow at 653-3079 (text or call).

* Students who have signed up, or are interested in signing up, for FBLA will have a meeting during lunch on Friday, October 29th in Mr. Rea's room 110.  Get your lunch and come to the meeting.  See you there.

*There is a sign up sheet in the library for high school students interested in participating in the statewide Read for A Lifetime reading program.  Deadline is Oct 29.  For more information, see Ms. Brokaw.

*Pep Club dues are $2.00 and must be paid by the end of October.  Please pay them to Jessa Patrick.

*Art Club dues are $2.00.  Please pay them to Harlee Flesner or Matt Mellon by Weds, Nov. 3.

*Spanish Club dues are $2.00.  Please pay to Ashley Oberling by Weds, Nov. 3.

*Picture retakes and senior individual pictures will be taken on Weds, Nov. 3.

*The Sadie Hawkins Dance will be on Fri, Nov. 5.  If you are bringing a guest from another school, pick up a guest pass form from the office to fill out.

*Athletic Club is now selling tshirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, & hats.  Order forms are in the office and color examples are on the website.  Deadline is Nov 12.

*HS Book Club will meet on Nov. 18 during lunch to discuss Chp 6-15 of Mockingjay.  The Book Club is just for fun.  There are no quizzes or tests or papers to fill out.  Also, we will read the books that you choose to read.  Come and join us!
