*Congratuations to Dakota Ensign--winner of the Teen Read Week "Teacher Favorite Reads" contest. She correctly matched ALL the teachers with their favorite books. Second place went to Zach Caster who matched 7 of 11 teachers. See their answers posted in the library.
*The Payson Pride winners for Fri, Oct 23 were--Alex Cookson, Tina Wernowsky, Samantha Catterson, Kira Eidson & Courtney Durbin. Please stop by Mrs. Rosenkrans' room on your way to lunch to pick up your prize.
*The Payson Seymour STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) class will be holding a hog roast on Sat, Dec 4 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Payson Grade School. The price is $10/ticket and includes baked beans, chips, cole slaw, dessert & beverage. Please see a class member or teacher for tickets--only so many are available. Proceeds will help fund community service & classroom projects. Please help support this inspiring class!

*Blood drive is TODAY. If you would like to donate blood, please sign up with Mrs. Rosenkrans. You need to be 17 or have a parent permission form. You may pick up the form from Mrs. Rosenkrans.
*Class rings will be in on Oct. 28 from 7:30-8:00 am.
*To all 7th & 8th grade volleyball players--Please join us for our parent/athlete introductory meeting on Thurs, Oct 28 in the high school library at 6:30. If you are planning to play school volleyball, please be there!! If you can't make it or have questions, feel free to contact Coach Tedrow at 653-3079 (text or call).
* Students who have signed up, or are interested in signing up, for FBLA will have a meeting during lunch on Friday, October 29th in Mr. Rea's room 110. Get your lunch and come to the meeting. See you there.

*HS Book Club will meet on Nov. 18 during lunch to discuss Chp 6-15 of Mockingjay. The Book Club is just for fun. There are no quizzes or tests or papers to fill out. Also, we will read the books that you choose to read. Come and join us!

*JWCC is offering an Intro to Welding Class on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Starting on Nov. 9th, this class will be held at the JWCC Ag. Education Center in Perry. Call 236-4711 to register.
