*HS students - Tuesday will be the last day to sign up your team for the Dodgeball tournament. Remember all students are able to participate...get your team together today. Stop by Mrs. Rosenkrans room to sign up.
*JH students - please remember to turn in your permission slip to Scotties to Mrs. Rosenkrans by Wednesday.
*Seniors - The Payson Foundation Scholarships have been posted on Mrs. Callahan’s web page. This year there are 8 scholarships available to graduating Payson seniors. All applications are available from Mrs. Callahan. The deadline for these is March 30, 2012.
*A social will be held Feb 14 and 15 in the cafeteria during both JH & HS lunches. Student council will have hostess treats, hot cocoa and suckers for sell at that time. Student council members - please remember to bring in your items.
*HS Book Club will meet on Weds, Feb 15 during HS lunch in the library.
*The Music Boosters are sponsoring a Valentine's Dance & dinner on Feb 18 from 6-10 pm. There will be live music and a dinner of ham, twice baked potatoes, vegetable & salad. Tickets are $15.00/person and reservations are due in by Feb 8. Admission for just the Dance is $5.00 at the door after 7:00..
*Students interested in finding out about the many career areas in agriculture are invited to JWCC Ag Center in Perry on Mon, Feb 27. Tours of the Ag Center will begin at 4:00 pm. A meal will be provided later in the evening. If you are interested, you must contact the Ag Center by Feb 16 at 236-4711.
*Sophomores & Juniors are invited to participate in Adams Electric Coop's "Youth to Washington" program. Four local students will be selected to win a week-long tour of Washington DC. Applications are available in the office and are due Feb 24.
*Unity's 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be March 10. Entry forms are available in the office and the deadline for entries is Feb 25.
*Our next blood drive is Wed, March 7. If you would like an appointment, please stop in and see Mrs. Rosenkrans. If you are 16, you must have a parent permission form signed.
*There will be a benefit on April 22 for Jenna Edwards. Tshirts are being sold for $10.00 each, with orders due by April 10. For an additional $25.00, you can be a sponsor and have your name printed on the back. Order forms are available in the office.
*Pep Club still has some 2011-12 basketball shirts available. See Ms. Isaacks or Mrs. Reeves if you want one.
*Pep Club is selling Payson Seymour lanyard with a detachable clip for $7.00. An example is hanging in the office window.
