*Lunch for Thurs, Oct 21 has changed to pizza, salad, cookie & fruit. Extra slices can be purchased for $2.00 each. No whole pizzas will be sold.
*Lunch for Fri, Oct 22 has changed to chicken fried rice, egg rolls, lo mein noodles, fortune cookie & fruit.
*We will run the meeting schedule today and Student Council will meet.
*Softball meeting is today during lunch.
*High School Book Club will meet today to discuss the first 5 chapters of Mockingjay
*Volleyball team plays tonight in the PCC tournament at Western at 7:00.
*WGEM is having a "Football Coach of the Year" contest on their website. Go to the sports tab and vote for Unity-Payson's Mr. Asbury by answering the question "Which high school football coach has done the best job this season?
*The Unity-Payson fooball team would love to have you at the game this Friday. If they win, they will make the playoffs. This Friday is also Senior night, so come and support your classmates. The game starts at 7:30 vs Calhoun.
*Seniors--Friday is the last day for pizza. NO late orders.
*Seniors--order forms for the senior picture taken yesterday are in the office.
*If you would like to order a Payson volleyball shrirt, please give Dakota Flesner $10 and tell her your size by Friday.
*Our next blood drive is on Oct 26th. If you would like to donate blood, please sign up with Mrs. Rosenkrans. You need to be 17 or have a parent permission form. You may pick up the form from Mrs. Rosenkrans.
*Class rings will be in on Oct. 28 from 7:30-8:00 am.
*There is a sign up sheet in the library for high school students interested in participating in the statewide Read for A Lifetime reading program. Deadline is Oct 29. For more information, see Ms. Brokaw.
*Pep Club dues are $2.00 and must be paid by the end of October. Please pay them to Jessa Patrick.
*Art Club dues are $2.00. Please pay them to Harlee Flesner or Matt Mellon by November 3rd.
*Spanish Club dues are $2.00. Please pay to Ashley Oberling by November 3rd.
*Picture retakes and senior individual pictures will be taken on Weds, Nov 3.
*Parent-Teacher Conferences will be:

*This week is "Teen Read Week". In the library, try to match your teacher with his or her favorite read. Student with the most correct wins. Today's trivia question: When was the first message sent over the internet? Enter answer for the drawing in the library.
*Jonathon Stotler--please turn in your football equipment--helmet, shoulder pads, leg pads, practice jersey and practice pants.
*Homework Haven will be at the Jr/Sr High will be from 3:05-4:05 Monday-Thursday in Mrs. Gilligan's room.

*JWCC is offering an Intro to Welding Class on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Starting on November 9, 2010, this class will be held at the JWCC Ag. Education Center in Perry. Call 236-4711 to register.
*The Hannibal High School Expo is scheduled for Tuesday, October 19 from 5:30-7:00pm. It will host many colleges, universities, military, and more. The location will be the cafeteria at Hannibal High School at the north end of the building.
*Central High School is hosting a dodgeball tournament on Nov. 13th. There is a flyer on the office window with the information.
