*Lunch for Thurs, Oct 4 is tacos with meat, cheese, lettuce & salsa, refried beans & chips and pears
*We will run Meeting Schedule today for Spanish Club. Then at 11:15, all Seniors will meet in Mr. Smith's Driver's Ed room for a short meeting.
*The following National Honor Society students need to see Mrs. Germann during activity period; Jacob Farr, Ryan Hildebrand, Ariann Ippensen, Seth Terwelp, and Jake Voss.
*Volleyball plays in their last home game tonight vs West Hancock at 6:00. It is Senior Night and the theme is crazy blue and white.
*National School Bus Safety Week is Oct 15-19. We are having a poster contest. Please use 8 1/2 by 11 paper and use crayons, markers or colored pencils. The categories are PK-2, 3-6 and 7-12. If interested, please have the posters to Nancy Cromie by Fri, Oct 12.
*A reminder for those driving to school -- please remember that students are crossing the street between the baseball field and the grade school. Make sure to slow down at the crosswalk, look for students, and be careful! We don't want anyone getting hurt.

*Congratulations to Monte Wietholder on winning the State FFA Horse judging contest this past Saturday at Blackhawk East College in Kewanee. Monte scored 392 points out of a possible 400 and led the Payson FFA team along with Seth Terwelp, Ryan Hildebrand and Luke Merritt to a 4th place rating. There were 53 teams and 197 individuals participating.
