IESA STATE SOFTBALL PEP BUS PERMISSION FORM
All permission slips are due to Mrs. Grawe at the Payson High School Office by Wednesday, September 25th at 3:00.

The JH Softball team added another victory to their record (21-0) Saturday as they defeated Griggsville-Perry 14-0 and won their sectional. They will play their first game in the state tournament on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Champions Field. They play Casey-Westfield (14-2).
The annual Payson Pride Night will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 6:00 p.m. They will assemble at the high school at 5:45 p.m. and march together with the band to the city park at 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival at the park, they will have a short program including speeches by each fall sports representative and musical selections by the band. The music boosters will be serving walking tacos, hot dogs, and drinks. Please come and support the school.
Congratulations to the Payson JH softball team on their Regional Title Win. They are undefeated for the season with a record of 20-0! The girls play in the Sectionals on Saturday at 1pm at Liberty against Griggsville. Griggsville is 12-4 on the season.

We are looking for non-certified substitutes for our classroom aides, kitchen, janitorial and office staff. Kitchen, janitorial and office staff need to fill out an application and pass a fingerprint background check (at a cost of $50 payable to Payson CUSD #1). Aide substitutes need to fill out an application, pass a fingerprint background check (at a cost of $50 payable to Payson CUSD #1), and be certified through the Regional Office of Education. The Unity-Payson football team is hosting a men's slow pitch softball tournament on August 16th & 17th at the Payson baseball field. Cost is $250 per team. Please register by Aug. 14th. To register or for more information call 217-779-8356.
