*The Bud Scranton JV Basketball Tournament starts tonight at Payson. Payson plays at 7:30 vs West Central.
*Liberty-Payson Girls Basketball plays tonight at Liberty vs Pittsfield at 6:00.
*JH Basketball plays tonight at Griggsville-Perry at 6:15.
*If you would like to be a part of the ugly sweater contest on Friday, bring your sweater and $1 to Mrs. Reeves or Mrs. Sullivan today or tomorrow for them to take a picture of it. Voting will then be during school on Weds and Thurs in the lobby, and the top two winners of the contest from both HS and JH will get a special prize. Then, on Fri, Dec 16, wear your ugliest sweater to school. This will be a fundraiser for the local Salvation Army for kids for Christmas.
*National Honor Society is sponsoring a Holiday Hat Day for this Fri, Dec 16. For one dollar you can wear your favorite Holiday hat. Funds will be given to the Fishes & Loaves of Payson. We are shooting for a goal of 50 hats with the chapter to match the funds.
*Sophomores - The deadline for your class tshirts has been extended to Fri, Dec 16. Make sure and turn your orders in this week.

*HS Book Club will meet in the library during HS lunch on Weds, Dec 14 to finish discussing "The Lightning Thief." The next book will be "Zombies vs. Unicorns". Any students or staff interested in reading with us, please stop by the library to pick up or request a copy.
*The JH Christmas Dance will be on Fri, Dec 16 from 7-10 pm in the MPR. *Please remember to turn in a guest pass if you are bringing a date from another school.
*The HS Dance team is sponsoring a Prom Dress sale. They will accept dresses that you wish to sell on Fri, Dec 16 from 5-7 pm at the Payson United Methodist Church basement. The sale will be Sat, Dec 17 in the basement of the Payson United Methodist Church from 9-1. Please contact Pam Porter at 430-1995 for details.
*The HS Library will accept canned good items for the Food Pantry in exchange for library late fees through the month of December. For every canned good brought in, students can earn $0.50 off their late fees
*Community Service Hours are available by helping Don Koetters clean up the grounds outside. Please sign up in the office.
