*Lunch for Weds, March 30 is nachos with meat & cheese, spanish rice, tossed salad & fruit

*We will run meeting schedule today for class meetings.

*The Culver Stockton College rep will be here today at noon.

*Softball team plays tonight at Pittsfield at 4:30.  Bus at 2:45.  Dismiss at 2:35.

*Any junior who signed up for STEM next year--please see Mr. Page this week for an application.

*Congratulations to T.J. Klitz who broke the school record for power clean.

*Yearbooks are on sale until for $45 until TOMORROW.

*Seniors--the deadline for ads for the yearbook is TOMORROW.

*Prom RSVPs are due by this Friday, April 1.  This is for all invited juniors and seniors and staff.  Also, money for the resevations must accompany the RSVP.

*Last night's cancelled JH Track has been rescheduled for Mon, April 4.

*Freshmen--please go to Mr. Carey's room today to sign the paper for the t-shirt.

*Softball still needs concession workers for Saturday.  A student could get all 4 hours completed if he/she came to work at this Saturday's games.

*Students participating in the Read for a Lifetime program need to have their four titles read and turned in to Ms. Brokaw by April 5th.

*7th Grade Girls--Reminder to sign up in the office for JH Dance.  Tryout practice will be April 4 and 5 from 6:00-7:30 & tryouts will be April 6 at 6:00.

*Alex Zanger needs to see Mr. Smith ASAP about his dues

*Sophomores are selling black sweatpants with the word "Indians" written down the leg in white.  Order forms are in the office.

*Sophomores--please see Mr. Smith to pick up your class shirt.  They are $13.

*Seniors--announcements & cap/gown will be given out on Weds, April 20 after school.  Everything must be paid for before then--no checks; only cash, money order or online. 

*Seniors--the senior trip t-shirts are in.  Please pay Jaden Bower $13.75 to pick yours up.

*Seniors--The Health Dept is offering the meningitis vaccine for $10.00.  After you turn 19, they must charge $115.  If you are interested in this vaccine, please call 222-8440 for times.

*The Softball team is having a raffle for Cardinal-Cub tickets and a Kabrick beef bundle.  Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.  The drawing will be during the last home game on May 10.  You do not have to be present to win.  Please see a softball player for tickets.

*The Softball team will have a pink night for breast cancer at their game on April 18.  Ms. Wiedman is taking shirt orders for $12.00

*Coupons for Seno tuxes are in the office.

*The grade school is raising money to sponsor a veteran on the Great River Honor Flight.  They are halfway to their goal of $300.  To help, you may bring donations to the office.  Thank you.

*Community service opportunities:

  • Contact Sarah Rogers at 217-577-3506.  It will entail spring cleaning the cemetery grounds.
  • Softball needs concession stand workers, especially on April 1 & 2.  See Ms. Wiedman if interested.
  • Help is needed picking up trash around the school.  Please come to the office if interested.

Dates -

  • Prom is April 16.
  • Baccalaureate is Sun, May 15 at 3:00 at Bluff Hall Church.
  • High School Graduation is Sun, May 22 at 3:00. 
  • Last day of school (report card day) is Tues, May 31.
  • The dead week in the summer for athletics is July 17-23.
  • Sports physical nights at the Quincy Medical Group are Weds, June 8 and Weds, July 20.
