*Lunch for Tues, Oct 16 is cheesy goulash, garden romaine salad with ranch dressing & peaches
*Friday's lunch has changed to a cookout.
*We will be running meeting schedule today for FFA & FBLA.
*Right before the beginning of the meetings, all seniors need to meet in the lobby right after the bell rings.
*The "Kids Can Make a Difference" Club will be having a bake sale tomorrow during both JH and HS lunch today in the cafeteria. Please buy something...items will be a dollar or less!
*Volleyball plays tonight at Calhoun at 6:00.*Pep Club "All Sport" shirt orders are due tomorrow
*The Senior picture is tomorrow. Please wear dark blue jeans and a solid blue or green colored shirt. Make sure you turn your planned absence sheet in, since that has your parent's signature allowing you to leave school.
*Juniors who signed up for the PSAT test will take it tomorrow. Do not go to your first hour -- go directly to Mr. Smith's Drivers Ed room.You will need a working calculator and 2 sharpened #2 pencils.
*Student council will be selling caramel apples at lunch on Thursday and Friday
*October 14-20 is Teen Read Week, so the high school library is holding a trivia contest. There will be daily winners and a grand prize of a $25 amazon gift card on Friday. Enter your name and answer in the library to enter a chance to win. Today's trivia question is : How many magazine titles are available in the library
*The End of First Quarter is Fri, Oct 19
*Any Senior whose parent(s) are a member of an electric cooperative (REA) can complete a scholarship application provided by the Thomas H. Moore Illinois Electric Cooperatives Memorial. To complete the application on line go to www.adamselectric.coop or see Mrs. Callahan for a printed copy. The deadline is Dec 31, 2012.

*QU is hosting a shooting clinic on Sun, Oct 21 from 1:00-4:00 for boys in grades K-12. Cost is $25 and registration forms are in the office.
*There will be a Prom Dress Resale Event at Griggsville-Perry on Sat, Nov 3. If you have dresses you would like to sell, please come to the office for more information.
